feedmeplz allows you to input sites that publish feeds. These can be blogs, search pages, online stores... any site that shows an orange feed icon at the top of your browser (the icon that looks just like the orange square in the feedmeplz logo). In return, feedmeplz gives you a "view" page that pulls the updates from all these sites, merges them together, and shows you the latest ones. You can mark this page as your homepage (or as one of your many homepages if you are using a modern browser) and stay updated on all your favorite sites.
Here is an example of the account management page, which you can see when you log in:
1 is where you add feeds... just type the URL of the site you want to add and if it has a valid feed, it will be added to your list. 2 is where you can set the number of items to be displayed... 25 is usually a good amount. 3 is where you can delete any of the feeds you have in your list, if you want. Once you have all your feeds enter, you can use the "view feed page" link at the top right to see your public page. Here is a sample with the feeds I have entered:
As you can see, the latest items from the blogs I have entered are merged together (in this case, Perez Hilton, Lifehacker, and Gizmodo). I can make this page my homepage and send it to friends, and do just about anything else I want with it. It's my page... and it's great!
